Deb has lived with her family on Chebacco Lake in Essex for the past 40 years. After working in microbiology for several years, she decided to pursue a life long interest in art . She has studied with Zyg Jankowski of Gloucester and Joel Babb at the MFA in Boston. In 1988 she decided to returned to school at Mass College of Art and graduated in 1992 with a major in painting. For several years she concentrated on drawing and painting the figure and portraits but in the past few years has been experimenting with a variety of subject matter. Deb has also taught watercolor class in Adult Ed. for North Shore Community College as well as giving private lessons in her home.
