Bobby Baker is an award winning fine art photographer. His work is shaped by his lifelong love of the ocean, beaches and seaside life. The Caribbean, Mexico, California and the Florida Keys have all served as inspiration for his work, but the driving force for his creative eye remains the allure of the Massachusetts’ seashore from Cape Cod to Cape Ann.
Bobby’s photographs have been featured in galleries, solo exhibits, newspapers, websites, calendars, books, and are included in private and corporate collections. Among his numerous awards are national recognition in the prestigious “The National” exhibit at Cape Cod Art Association; “Best Seascape” award at the “Fine Art of Photography” Exhibit at the Plymouth Center for the Arts, Plymouth, MA, and he was named “Artist of Distinction” in recognition of his work in the Still Point Art Gallery “Still Point III” exhibit. His work is the subject of a portfolio feature in the Summer 2012 Issue of Still Point Arts Quarterly art publication available in book stores across the US and Canada.
Bobby is a juried artist member of the Copley Society of Art in Boston, the Cape Cod Art Association and the Marblehead Arts Association. His work is also represented by Dubaigne Fine Art, NYC, and Gallery 9, Norwood, MA.
