Having lived in many places across the country, Marie ,along with her family, settled in Massachusetts 30 years ago and has lived on Rocky Neck for the past 10 years.
Living among such beautiful surroundings gave inspiration and life to a love of art. Maries' preference for vibrant color is reflected in her oil paintings.
Marie studied Advertising at SUNY in New York. Since moving to Gloucester she has studied with many of the local artists as well as attending LaRomita School of Art in Terni, Italy. She is a member of the Rocky Neck Art Colony, North Shore Art Association and the Rockport Art Association.
Marie prefers plein air painting and can be spotted painting on Cape Ann during summer months. Her studio is at home on Rocky Neck.
