I learned my craft from a jeweler in the 70s on Cape Cod. Beginiing with sterling sliver, I then graduated to 14kt gold and gems. Working for 12 years on Cape Cod, I learned the fine points of hammering and techniques that benefit me today.
After exploring management for jewelry departments, I eventually ended up working for Bloomindale's for a number of years where I expanded my knowledge of jewelry. But after talking to my former teachers I ended up back on the Cape running their business in Hyannis for a couple of years. This brought back the joy I get when creating my jewelry that I continue to have today.
Out of a little studio in my house I srive for a commitment to produce the best work and craftsmanship that has been in my life for so long. I enjoy reaching out of myself for new inspriation and work on new techniques by attending courses at Metal Werx in Waltham.
