Jeanne Greenleaf ~ PaintingJeanne Greenleaf Gallery 850-766-6234 I like to paint in oil and transparent watercolor, and draw with oil pastels. My style varies with medium or subject. Sometimes the paintings are detailed and realistic to satisfy the more obsessive part of myself. At other times the work calls for a different approach with a larger canvas, bigger brush and wider gestures. I love to watch light as it travels through the hours of the day to see how it changes and plays on form. I am curious about people, their peculiarities, pathos and humor. The human body is lush landscape holding secrets of heat and promise. Human beings, with their richness, woe and absurdity, stir my inclination to comment on our common condition.
