Rokhaya Waring4 Eastern Point Road 603-303-3876 Rokhaya is perhaps best known for her landscapes of Provence, having lived there part-time throughout the last 20 years. Although a native of the North Shore, Rokhaya has traveled and painted in many places including England, Italy, Greece, Skandinavia, Israel, Martinique, and throughout the United States. Rokhaya's work has garnered her a steady stream of exhibits, commissions, awards, and devoted collectors — including Brooke Shields. She has exhibited in juried shows including the Salon Des Artistes Français and the Salon d'Automne in Paris, and the Currier Museum of Art. After two decades, Rokhaya has returned to make her home in Gloucester, Massachusetts.
