After the tremendous success of last year’s event, we are gearing up for an even more successful one this year. Due to reconfiguration of the studio floor and walls, spaces will be slightly different this year, and will include the rental of wall, jewelry display and table spaces at the Center.
All items for sale must be the sole creation of the exhibiting artist(s) -- no mass-produced items except those created from your own work, such as greeting cards, prints, calendars, books, textiles, etc. It is a Holiday Sale, so bring nice, affordable items that people can purchase as gifts. It is suggested, although not required, that you limit the price of items to no more than $250, and as much as possible to around $20.
Exhibitors will not be required to man their spaces or sit hours during the festival. Part of the exhibit fees will go toward paying two sales associates who will work (one upstairs and one downstairs) for the duration of the festival handling all sales transactions. In addition, fees will cover the cost of the space and publicity materials.
There are 40 spaces available that will be rented on a first come basis upon receipt of your application and applicable fee. Applications will be accepted until Monday, October 27th, or sooner if all spaces are rented, so that we can move forward with publicity. Upon confirmation of your application and payment receipt, you will be requested to email a few jpeg images of examples of items you will have for sale, to use for promotional materials, so please have them ready to send. Time is short and we need to move quickly.
Please mail or drop off your completed application and check for the appropriate fee amount to Rocky Neck Art Colony, Inc., 6 Wonson Street, Gloucester, MA 01930. The Center is open Thursday through Sunday from noon to 4:00pm if you wish to drop off your application.
