2025 Impact Stories
Art Meets Science
In collaboration with Gloucester Marine Genomics Institute, "Navigating Art and Science" brought together eight artists deeply involved in scientific inquiry and activism. This innovative exhibition bridged creativity and environmental awareness, highlighting how art can amplify important scientific conversations in the coastal community.
Empowering Young Artists
Through a partnership with Cape Ann Art Haven, children ages 5-12 created art in the Cultural Center throughout the summer. The young artists painted on yards-long paper rolls displayed on gallery walls, giving them the experience of exhibiting their work alongside professional artists in a historic art colony.
Community Comes Together
The first-ever Community Appreciation Day brought neighbors, sponsors, members, and volunteers together for an unforgettable celebration. With barbecue, music, and a silent auction, this event strengthened connections within Rocky Neck's creative community and honored the people who make the art colony thrive.
