As Executive Director of the Rocky Neck Art Colony, Elizabeth Carey is inspired by the belief that art connects us—to history, to place, and to one another. She is passionate about preserving the Colony’s extraordinary legacy while cultivating new opportunities for artists, neighbors, and visitors to engage in meaningful creative experiences.
Elizabeth brings a collaborative spirit to her leadership, working closely with artists, donors, volunteers, and community partners to ensure the Colony thrives for generations to come. She views the arts not only as cultural enrichment, but as a vital force for wellbeing and community resilience.

Robin Hoffman
Robin Hoffman serves as Development Coordinator at the Rocky Neck Art Colony, where she supports fundraising initiatives, sponsorships, grants, and community partnerships that advance the organization’s mission.
In her previous work life, she worked as Director of Operations for a national nonprofit. Her professional background also includes working for several newspapers, work in real estate magazine publishing, systems management, graphic design, and community media. Robin moved to Gloucester in 2009 from Vermont and loves being near the ocean and spending time with her husband, children and eight grandchildren (number 9 on the way).

Anne-Marie brings her 25+ years marketing and communications experience to RNAC, creating dynamic digital content that highlights the organization’s exhibitions, news, and happenings across multiple platforms. Her passion for visual storytelling is reflected in her photography, filmmaking, and graphic design.
