Emerging Perspectives is a juried exhibition illuminating the vital and evolving voices of the region’s next generation of artists. This showcase serves as a bridge between the storied traditions of America’s oldest continuously operating art colony and the imaginative inquiries of creators aged 18 to 30.
Selected by the RNAC Exhibitions Committee, the exhibition presents a focused collection of work that captures a moment of professional becoming. Spanning a wide range of media, the collection reflects a deep commitment to personal exploration and the pursuit of a distinct visual language. By facilitating a dialogue between these rising artists and the established creative lineage of Gloucester, the Rocky Neck Art Colony continues its 150-year legacy of fostering the future of the arts.
Emerging Perspectives is an invitation to witness the initial professional steps of those who will shape our cultural landscape. It offers a rare glimpse into the burgeoning careers of artists as they transition their practice into the public sphere. We invite the community to observe this growth and support the creative spirit that defines our region.
