    This two-part program includes a lecture by Laura Tonelli and still life drawing with Amanda Hawkins. Free for Rocky Neck Art Colony Members, $10/non-members.

    A Teachable Feast: The Festive Tavern in the Low Countries in the 17th Century
    Sunday, November 13, 3-4 pm
    Talk presented by independent art historian Kimberlee A. Cloutier-Blazzard examining the ways several Dutch and Flemish artists used humor in the context of the feast to galvanize communities. Open to the public, suggested donation: $10.

    Rocky Neck Members Meeting and Festive Public Community Feast
    Wednesday, November 16
    Meeting starts at 6 pm; Feast follows from 6:30-9 pm
    Rocky Neck Art Colony invites all to gather in creative community to celebrate the season and the artists of Feast. Please bring along an artful plate of appetizers or a food sculpture! Beverages will be offered by RNAC. Free and open to all.

    Foraging for Food and Connection with Our Local Plants

    Saturday, December 3, 2:30-4 pm
    A short walk and accompanying talk introducing some of the edible plants growing wild around Rocky Neck. Bring a notebook and camera/phone. Handouts and a couple of recipes are included. Open to the public, suggested donation: $10.
