Rocky Neck Art Colony (RNAC) is pleased to announce our 2026 Season at the Cultural Center at Rocky Neck! From April to November, come experience five unique and invigorating exhibits curated by the RNAC Exhibitions Committee.
Emerging Perspectives Artists 18-30
Exhibition Dates: April 10 – May 17
This annual show attempts to engage a young population of artists in the history and future of RNAC. We strive to offer emerging artists an opportunity for exposure and experience working with a gallery.
Rhythm and Rhyme
Works Inspired by Music and Lyrics
Exhibition Dates: May 22 – June 28
The structural pattern of music, including melody, harmony, tempo and tone has long been a muse for the visual arts. Similarly, a song’s lyric quality may evoke powerful imagery and stir the imagination. With this open juried show by the RNCC Exhibitions Committee, artists are invited to submit up to five works inspired by music or musical lyrics in any media.
American Stories
Exhibition Dates: July 3 – August 9
Timed for the nation’s 250th, a juried open call exhibit celebrating a breadth of visual American stories.
Making an Impression
A Curated Exhibition of Printmakers from the Greater Cape Ann Region
Exhibition Dates: August 14 – September 20
Over the centuries, artists have experimented with different techniques for making multiple copies of designs, images and text. From ancient Chinese woodblock prints and movable type to giclée printing in the digital age, the medium continues to evolve. Making an Impression brings together traditional and contemporary printmakers from the greater Cape Ann region in an exhibition that aims to inspire, educate, and engage visitors through appreciation of the varied and expressive work on display.
YES! Year End Show – All Members
Exhibition Dates: September 25 – November 1
A veritable salon of recent artworks from all our members. A large exhibition of many genres of art, in celebration of the creative spirit alive at RNAC.
